Instagram LogoFor God so loved the woke….wait…my bad it doesn’t say that. It says for God so loved the WORLD. People interpret words differently. Some see being woke as if they’ve opened her eyes to something that the rest of the world doesn’t isn’t seeing. Others see being woke as an excuse to act like a complete idiot. But the problem is, we all have our own perspective so telling someone that they need to be woke, or telling someone that you are woke and they are not, are all just examples of “us versus them“. The same goes for saying that someone as a “sheep” if they disagree with you. I have an idea, how about we all just acknowledge the fact that we see things differently. How about we all acknowledge the facts that we can’t all be right, but it doesn’t mean that everyone who sees things differently are wrong. How about realizing we could all be wrong about a lot of things and we can still love each other and get along. For those of us who claim to be followers of Jesus, let’s remember this… Jesus didn’t come to create more separation. The world is broken, the world has enough separation. There are a million things that many of us agree on in this world but for some reason we always tend to focus on the things that divide us. This is why God sent Jesus in the first place. Because on our own, we like to tear each other apart in order to elevate ourselves. Because on our own we try to build empire instead of shalom (Google it). God did not give us this planet so we could create an empire and rule over one another. He gave us life so we could enjoy this planet and part of enjoying it as experiencing the love that other people have to offer. Imagine how much more beautiful this world would be if we stopped looking for reasons to fight and started looking for reasons to laugh. #LoveWins
Instagram LogoSo often we get caught up in trying to figure out who is “Christian” and who isn’t based on the things we see in their lives but why? Isn’t Jesus the one who brought salvation? Isn’t he the one who decides who HE wants to redeem? And didn’t HE say that he came for everyone? Jew, Gentile, Slave, Free, Man, Woman, Child, Orphan, Widow, Foreigner and yes…let’s not forget that he came for US…the sinners. “Is it not the sick who need a doctor?” Instead of deciding who should hear the good news, or who is “worthy” of being called a Christian, may I encourage us all to remember that Jesus wasn’t a “Christian” and he didn’t come to start a new religion. He came to set the world right, and to show us how God wants His people to live all along. God never wanted us to create ‘religions’ and divisions. And Jesus’ inclusive loving behavior on this earth should be a pretty shining example for us to realize God’s love is for all, even those that we don’t want to love. May Je bless you and keep you safe in His loving arms today brothers and sisters. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭CSB‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/1713/rom.1.16.CSB #ValueDrivenCoach #LoveGodLoveOthers #TheWay #Jesus #God #LoveWins #blessed #Inspiration #Motivation #Joy #Peace #revival #housechurch #christianity #christianitytoday #reformation #orthopracy #orthodoxchristianity #christianitypost #christianity101 #progressivechristianity #christianityquotes #biblicalchristianity #christianmemes
