Do you luv people or LOVE people? What does it mean to love your neighbor as yourself? Paul seems to describe it well by saying we are to “love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other.” When we focus on honoring others instead of trying to get the glory for ourselves, we will no doubt receive all that we need from God. We don’t need to seek glory for ourselves, just seek to be who God made us to be: humble people who put others before ourselves. And what would that world look like, regardless of what your current beliefs are, think for a moment what this world could look like of right now, EVERYONE on the planet started putting everyone else first! Would there be a need that went unmet? Would a child go hungry? Would a spouse be abused? Would a child be hurt by someone? Would a company be embezzled? Would stores be robbed and looted and burned? Would people steal? Would people murder? If everyone stopped fighting to ‘take what is theirs’ and started trying to ‘give what we have to help others’ we would have no need for police, government, or rules would we? If we just simply followed what Jesus called the greatest commandment: ‘Love God with everything you have and love others as you love yourself.’ Tell me that’s not a world we’d all be happy to live in! Shame on you @kcpubhealth One more reason we are planning to exit the state of Washington. This is the King County (Seattle) health department and they promote the use of “glory holes“… Yes you read that right… As a way for people to still have “hook ups“ during Covid. They are advocating anonymous sex through holes in walls/shower curtains, or whatever as a safe way to have sex with people instead of looking at them face-to-face wearing a mask. This should be further proof that government officials are using COVID-19 to promote their political agenda awesome they genuinely do not care about the health and well-being of their constituents. This type of behavior could result in sexually transmitted diseases… and not to mention how morally disgusting this is.
