When faced with disruptions to our plans and schedule, we might protest, “But I have lots of really important things to do.” And Jesus would say, “So did I.” We might insist, “But a lot of people depend on me.” And Jesus would say, “Me, too.” We might claim, “Modern life is overwhelming. I’m too busy to deal with interruptions.” And Jesus would say, “If you’re too busy to love people, you might want to rethink your commitments.”

Struggling? Pray. Celebrating? Pray. No matter what...pray! Prayer is you actively inviting God into the MOMENT. He sees, He is already present in that moment but it’s like He is in the room waiting for you to say “hey Dad come help, or come rescue me, or thank you Dad, come celebrate with me.” He is your Heavenly Father and thanks to Jesus you can speak directly to him now! “Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. I see posts of concern over those willing to get the new vaccination and posts over concern about those not vaccinating. Everyone needs to STOP IT. I’m not an “anti-Vax” person. I am however anti-FORCED vaccination, which is my God given right as a HUMAN and as an American. I am also anti-certain-vaccination for myself. For example, I do not get the flu shot, and I will not get a COVID vaccination under any circumstance. If you choose to, I respect that and frankly it’s none of my business. I believe everyone is 100% free to make the choices to do what they believe will best keep themselves and their families safe because that is OUR God given right and ultimately God is who I am accountable to. Not your opinion of me. That said, I hope people who are planning to get the Covid vaccine will be respectful to those of us who are NOT getting it. And I hope those who are not getting it will be respectful to those who ARE getting it. Respect is a two way street. If you want someone to be respectful of your choices, be respectful of theirs, even when you wouldn’t make the same choices. Plus...if you believe your choice to vaccinate will actually protect you, you shouldn’t have any reason to get upset at someone else choosing not to vaccinate because you are protected. Let us all except use some love and common sense in the coming months.
