Kit pricing 2026: what Free, Creator and Pro cost
Kit (formerly ConvertKit) is free up to 10,000 subscribers, but Free has no automations. Creator is $39 a month at 1,000 subscribers, $89 at 5,000, $139 at 10,000 and $679 at 100,000. Pro is $139 a month at 5,000. Yearly billing saves about 17%.
Free up to 1,000 contacts. No card.
Kit's free plan is generous on list size and strict on features. Ten thousand subscribers is a lot, but a welcome sequence, the first thing most people set up, needs Creator. So the real starting price for most creators is Creator at their list size.

Where Kit is worth the money
Kit is built for creators who sell. Its Recommendations network brings in subscribers from other Kit newsletters, its commerce tools sell products and paid subscriptions, and Pro's engagement scoring helps if you run launches. If those are how you grow, Kit earns its price. If you send a weekly email and want automations without paying $89 a month at 5,000 subscribers, it's a lot of plan to pay for.
