it was the longest walk of my life

Hi ,

“the walk out to my car that dreary night was the loneliest walk of my life.”

“i had no idea where i might go.”

“i was in a haze. groping for just enough clarity so that I could get myself home safely. even though at that moment, i couldn’t even remember where i lived.”

OK, good…you’re here. which means if you’re reading this on linkedin, those first three lines above the fold were enough to captivate your interest, get you to click ‘see more’ and hopefully keep reading for a few minutes, because I have a few very important points to make about a terrific new resource for funeral homes and, of course, your sales and marketing efforts.

first though, because I know you’re probably dying to know about the dreary night and my grief-filled walk out to the car, i must point out that this was not actually my personal experience. the first line comes from a participant in a video series we’ve created called Guiding Grief. the next two lines i added for affect.

Guiding Grief is a series of 27 professionally produced videos with some of the top grief experts in the field

you can add this amazing resource to your frazer-powered funeral home website technology. reply to this message or send me a message on linkedin or call me directly and I will reveal in more detail how you can put this amazing resource to work for you and your families.

if you’re not a funeral director or you don’t own a funeral home, you can still get access to this treasure-trove of grief resources, and even send it as a gift to someone you love by clicking here: https://guidinggrief.com

the story i started with in this post today is one told by a widower the night his wife died. I chose this one, because the story touched me. it put me right into the idea of just what that might be like - my wife dying suddenly in a car accident, and me walking out to the parking lot of the hospital, suddenly and somehow faced with a new and devastating reality that I would have no idea how to navigate.

alone.

confused.

bewildered…

maybe even angry.

no idea what to do next.

certainly, the videos created as part of the guiding-grief library on this subject would not be enough to save me on their own. to heal me. but they might certainly be a good start. and if introduced and provided to me by the funeral home and funeral director i leaned on to celebrate my wife’s legacy and say goodbye? a beautiful, timely and meaningful touchpoint that I would likely remember forever.

call, reply, or message me on linkedin and we can discuss this new resource in more detail.

it’s just one of many resources and tools we have available to help your funeral home serve your families and communities.

PS my wife and i are doing just fine. this post was a quick practice session for you and I focused on some things I learned this morning about how to craft your content and sales pitches in the traditional form of an infomercial. about how you need to weave your product demonstrations and copywriting into your sales pitch and combine the two in a way that drives response without scaring people away. my hope is that it was at least good enough for you to consider checking out guiding grief and possibly even reaching out to me to discuss it in more detail. because i believe this truly is an amazing resource that has the potential to help a lot of people. thanks for being here. 🤓
