Instagram LogoLifting. A lot of people ask me if I follow a program or training method. I do and I don't. As a gym owner it's hard to follow a strict program and truth be told I never had any luck following a strict program to the letter. With coaching classes, handling day to day operations, family life and making sure everybody has everything it's not easy to take 90 minutes out of my day to sit there and lift and train the way most athletes would. Over the years I've learned, spending 20 minutes here, 20 minutes there throughout the day actually works really well and as a gym owner with 4 programs, sometimes I feel obligated to do them all which isn't ideal but you gotta play with the kids once in a while. So I don't follow a program. I mash them all up and do a little bit of each and mostly just lift until I get the target I had in mind. I focus a lot on squatting everyday and weightlifting with some Crossfit and powerlifting. It may not be the best way to train , but it works for me and keeps me sane. Once competitions become more available I will focus a bit more. Until then I just like lifting heavy and showing off for the crew! Anyways. That's my rant. Age is inevitable.
