Happy nearly new year ? Today I am nurturing and comforting (on a still ongoing bread baking marathon), being and becoming... as I’m feeling the energies turn from one year to the next. Its been a quiet few weeks for me, as this year has come to an end and I’ve felt the need to retreat into silence and reflection for a while. The ‘turn of the year’ ending feels so profound this year, as we as humanity are all forever changed after 2020. I’m feeling the resurfacing of the next, the welcoming of more and lots of newness for next year... what that means may not be ideal for anyone who want to go back to ‘normal’. New requires change. More needs us to start baking our lives with a whole new recipe, to get entirely new results. I’m ready to explore in the new, along with you, if you’re ready and up for it?! The weirdest clouds I’ve ever seen, were waiting for me as midnight turned into Halloween, last night. Looking like spirits streaming through the sky all around the nearly full moon, I must admit to being a wee bit spooked. I’ve always been a Scaredy Cat around Halloween, which comes from being so connected as a child. I’d see faces everywhere in mirrors and windows, have energy visitors in my room, and sitting on my bed (and in my dreams ) when I was a kid. I saw horrors in my minds eye that wouldn’t make sense until I was much much older, and still haunt me now. Even as (allegedly) à grown up, I can’t watch horror films and if an advert for a zombie film flashes up in a commercial break, I’m done for... anything to do with walking dead and I’m awake for a week ?? Needless to say, when I saw this weird sky last night, the dog was forced to have the quickest wee ever as I scarpered back into the house as quick as I could. (Locking the doors, yeh like that would help ? ?) Living in the middle of nowhere, and the sounds of all the animals doing their full moon howls, also don’t help the heebie-jeebies when my inner 4 year old starts freaking out ?? So for those of you who celebrate Halloween, Samhain, All Souls, around this time... I hope you have a wonderful time.
