Instagram LogoXTREME CHOCOLATE BAKED OATS // @arikirsch @fitxari “omg. yall. this was SO GOOD. if you’re looking for a dessert that is socially acceptable to pass off as a breakfast, this is it. it is sooo chocolatey and melt-in-your-mouth creamy, and after being baked the frozen blueberries on top taste like blueberry pie. this was the first time i had ever made baked oats and it was definitely a bigger serving than i could finish (my brother ate the rest haha), but it fit so nicely in this little bread dish so i might make future recipes the same size and just split them between me and another person or two. i can’t wait to make more baked oats recipes now that i know how yummy they are, and i highly recommend that you give these ones a try (& lmk how it goes!)!! “ ???? ??????????? ▫️¾ cup quick whole grain oats ▫️2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder ▫️1 tbsp granulated sugar ▫️½ tsp baking powder ▫️½ cup applesauce ▫️a handful of chocolate chips ▫️⅔ cup oat milk ??????? ??????????? ▫️frozen blueberries ▫️semi-sweet chocolate chips ?????????⁣⁣ ▫️preheat oven to 400°F ▫️in a medium bowl, mix dry ingredients together ▫️add wet ingredients and stir until combined ▫️pour into baking dish ▫️add toppings ▫️put in oven for 20 mins (you can add a few more minutes if you like your oats more cakey; i like mine creamy so 20 mins was perfect for me) *inspired by @tracesoats on instagram’s measurements, ingredients, and cooking time/temp from his red velvet baked oats recipe*

It can now be found in the markets of Jerusalem sold in little street bakeries and they are SO GOOD. This is my first attempt at making them myself. This recipe makes about 80-100 rugelach, so it can be easily halved. Good for dessert, breakfast, or with coffee.
