Instagram Logo“Like most holiday foods, they remind of special moments with friends and family. One of my favorite things about making pierogi is sharing the experience with my non-Polish friends, or even with my Polish friends who have never made pierogi before! Between kneading the dough, scooping the filling, and making little fork indents, pierogi are extremely therapeutic to make. Pierogis // @superskup ????? ???????????: ▫️2 eggs ▫️1/3c water ▫️1/2 tsp salt ▫️2c all purpose flour ??????? ???????????: ▫️Saute with: butter, onion ▫️Top with: green onion and sour cream ▫️mashed potatoes (russet) ▫️cheddar cheese ▫️butter ▫️cream/milk ▫️salt ▫️garlic OR ▫️sweet potato ▫️spinach ▫️feta OR DESSERT! ▫️blueberries ▫️dessert cheeses ????? ?????????: ▫️Whisk eggs, water and salt together ▫️Add the flour, mix with wooden spoon until well moistened ▫️Knead the dough until it’s well mixed, cover and let sit 10 min- 1 hr. ▫️Roll the dough to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into roughly 3 inch pieces. ?????????: ▫️Spoon filling into the dough, fold in half and indent on the edges with a fork (it’s therapeutic!) ▫️Boil until they float, and then throw them in a pan with whatever sauce you want! We use a ton of butter and onion, and top with green onion and sour cream.
Instagram LogoChana Masala + Jeera Rice // @tovah31 ???????????: ▫️2 cups basmati rice or any other long grain rice ▫️1/4 cup cumin seeds (or less if you prefer) ▫️1 bay leaf ▫️6 whole cloves ▫️1 inch cinnamon stick ▫️2 TB coconut oil or ghee ▫️water ▫️1 can chickpeas ▫️2 cans diced tomatoes ▫️1 onion ▫️2 TB chopped ginger or ginger paste ▫️1 clove garlic ▫️3 Cardamom pods ▫️1 tsp or so each curry powder, turmeric, garam masala ▫️salt and black pepper to taste ▫️vegetable oil ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ?????????: ▫️Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger to the vegetable oil and sauté for a min before adding all of your spices (except salt and pepper) and then sauté until the onions are translucent. ▫️Add the chickpeas (rinsed) and the tomato cans, mix, and then let simmer, covered, for 25-30 min or until the chickpeas are soft. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. ▫️For the rice, rinse the rice and put into a pot with the appropriate amount of water and the ghee/coconut oil. Let it get to a boil and then once most of the water is gone, dump the rice out, add some oil and a splash of water to the bottom of your pot and add all the spices, cooking until fragrant. ▫️Add the rice back in the pot, mix, and cover for it to finish cooking by steaming (stove on low). ▫️Serve with a sprinkle of chopped cilantro and a side of naan!

Instagram LogoGF Pizza // @itss.eytankoren // @mayank0ren ???????????: Gluten free pizza dough: ▫️800g gluten free flour ▫️20g salt ▫️10g honey or sugar ▫️Teaspoon of instant yeast ▫️20g olive oil ▫️650g warm water ▫️Pesto ▫️Tomatoes ▫️Arugula ▫️Eggplant ▫️Mushrooms ▫️Mozzarella ????????? ▫️Mix warm water, yeast and sugar/honey in a bowl (let it sit for 5m) ▫️Mix flour and salt in another bowl and add the water mixture into the bowl along with the olive oil. ▫️Kneed until all the ingredients are mixed and shape the dough into a round shape. ▫️Cover the bowl with a wet towel and let the dough rise until it had doubled in size (I leave mine for 12-16h, less is okay too) ▫️After the dough has risen shape it into the size of your choice, add the toppings and bake. ▫️I chose to top my pizzas with pesto, tomatoes, arugula, eggplant and mushrooms. You can add cheese and toppings of your choice. ▫️Bake at highest temperature possible for 15 or so minutes until the dough is cooked through (It’ll smell good!)
Instagram LogoSata Andagi // @koya.oki ???????????: ▫️pancake mix (@eatsuperbatter if u want crazy colors) ▫️oil ▫️1/2c milk ▫️2c powdered sugar ▫️shredded coconut ????????? ▫️Heat oil in a deep pan. You need to use enough for the donuts to fully submerge. ▫️Meanwhile, in a separate pan, stir milk and powdered sugar together for the glaze. Bring to a boil and then lit simmer for about 10 mins. ▫️Prepare pancake mix. You may need to add a little more dry ingredients if your donuts aren’t staying together. ▫️Once the oil is hot use two spoons to plop the batter into the oil. One scoops the batter, the other swipes it off the spoon into the oil and then catches the drips. ▫️Use tongs to flip donuts so they brown on each side. This depends on how hot your oil is, but usually its about 20-30 seconds per side. ▫️Stack into an epic donut platter, drizzle glaze on top and shredded coconut on top!
Instagram LogoCroissant breakfast Sammy!!! // @reya_andrews ???????????: ▫️1-2 slices of any cheese you like ▫️1-2 slices of any deli meat ( turkey, ham, prosciutto) ( I used turkey) ▫️Half of an avo ▫️1-2 eggs (depends how many eggs you want) ▫️1 croissant ????????? ▫️Cut croissant almost all the way in half but not the whole way so it butterflies open ▫️Put some butter in a pan and heat and put the inside of the croissant down to toast ▫️Cook your eggs to however you want (I fried mine and punctured the yolk right before I flipped it) ▫️assemble! ▫️optional: put assembled croissant back on the pan to crisp the outside and get the cheese a little melty! Drain and wash under cold water. ▫️Add chili oil, spring onion and/or cilantro, sesame seeds... etc. It’s up to you! ▫️That’s it! The entire process takes just 5 minutes and the result tastes amazing
Instagram LogoPerfect Pumpkin Pie! // @chiarazangari // @dinnerdubs ???????????: Crust: ▫️1 1/2 cup flour ▫️1/2 cup cold butter. Cut into 1/2 in pieces ▫️Pinch of salt ▫️8 tablespoons of cold water Filling: ▫️2 cups pumpkin purée (canned or fresh) ▫️3 eggs ▫️2 tablespoons granulated sugar ▫️2 tablespoons brown sugar ▫️2 tablespoons maple syrup ▫️1 1/2 cups heavy cream ▫️1/2 teaspoon ground cloves ▫️2 teaspoons cinnamon ▫️2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated ▫️1/2 teaspoon salt ????????? Crust: Mix flour, butter, salt in cuisinart or by hand, pulse until butter is pea sized, add in water untill dough comes together Turn out on surface and make ball, wrap in Saran Wrap. Flatten out in disc shape and refrigerate over night Filling: Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into crust. If there is extra filling, pour it into a baking pan for a crust-less pumpkin pie or custard. Bake the pie for 10 minutes at 450 degrees, then approximately 35 minutes at 350 degrees or until set.

In less than 30 minutes?” ???????????: Sauce ▫️1/3c sour cream ▫️1/2c cilantro ▫️1 big clove garlic ▫️1/4 onion ▫️salt/pepper ▫️lime Taco ▫️tortillas ▫️onions ▫️bell pepper ▫️shrimp ▫️avocado ▫️garlic powder ▫️chili powder ▫️cumin ▫️cayenne ????????? ▫️defrost shrimp in water ▫️blend sauce ingredients together. Adjust to taste ▫️meanwhile, chop onion and pepper, and begin to sauté. ▫️after a couple mins, add the shrimp along with the spices above to taste. Shrimps ready once they’re not translucent any more.
