I wrote 5,236 words today. ?? Every time I do something like this, my "Draft Expected" formula moves the date up a few days, anticipating that I'll write like this EVERY day. But that's not always the case. Heh. The deadline I set was 6/30 and I'll be finished well ahead of that date. ?

4,328 words written today. I do a lot of plotting beforehand, but I leave a little room for changes or 90 degree turns. So far, I'm on track with my outline and should finish on the 22nd of this month! ?

I tried to create a new profile photo for my social media, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted. So I'm sticking with the previous one, just updated it a little bit. Below is the one I rejected. I took a ton of photos, but I gave up in the end. I think it's a combination of the angle of the camera and my hair (lol). The previous one was serendipitous and just turned out so well. I'm going to have to play around with it and see if I can get a better angle/look...

Ugh. I just rewatched X-Men Origins: Wolverine again for the first time in years. Holy crud, what a terrible movie. Everything from the acting to the costume design was just awful. The dialogue was chock full of cliches. Don’t get me started on the plot. None of the characters’ motivations were set up properly. And, lest we forget, we got a Deadpool that nobody wanted, a lame Gambit, and a Cyclops that did nothing. Gah! Stop making terrible movies!!! ???

I wasn't able to get as much as I wanted done today, but I did get 3,215 word written down. I've already spent a total of 28 hours working on Book 5. Whew! #amwriting #sunmakersaga
