Happy Sunday! Just got back from a week at the beach but other than that, not too much to update you on so let's dive in.

The World of Disney

Netflix is the mac daddy king of streaming services with an absolutely insane amount of subscribers at 209 million. Disney+, which launched in November 2019, however, is catching their trail pretty fast. They already have a whopping 116 million subscribers with 12 million added in the last quarter. Netflix only added just 1.5m.

Data suggests that Disney could catch and surpass Netflix's subscriber base in less than 3 years if that pace is maintained. We'll see what happens. Disney is going to have to put out a ridiculous amount of new movies and shows in order to keep that momentum up.
