Oftentimes, we find ourselves rebelling against God. That's exactly where He meets us! That's when and where he shows us who we are and who we should be. He qualifies us according to His grace and transforms us. Last week I wanted to make sure my boy still had a good fall break. We got to go to Dallas,TX and spent time with family as well as got in a lot of activities! Thursday: We hit the road. It was like old times and made us feel close to his dad. (1) Friday: @perotmuseum Such a rich and educational experience. (2-6) @statefairoftx Got our fair food…corny dog, hot buttered corn, Turkey leg and funnel cake. 😋 (7-8) Saturday: Six hours 🤩 at @kidzaniausa @convoswithcampbell1 had the time of his life! (9-10) Tomorrow isn’t promised. We had such a good time. I needed that time away to reset. I didn’t answer the phone or reply to emails. I also didn’t make an announcement about it. Last week I got to sit and have breakfast and a cup of coffee with my uncle. Life is precious and so short. Don’t live life with regret, make the most of each moment. I’m so grateful for the elders in my family and the time I get to sit with them and soak up their knowledge and wisdom. They won’t be with us forever. I’ve always been a person to check on my people and I love staying connected. Make it a point to spend time with the people you love ❤️ just because. You don’t have to have a reason. Spending that time with my uncle was just what I needed at that moment. We didn’t say much. We just enjoyed the moment. He always laughs when he sees me or has a big smile on his face!
