Instagram LogoIt’s a good day to have a great day! I CHOOSE to be grateful. Gratitude isn’t a common habit, but without gratitude, life is more challenging than it needs to be. Feeling grateful resets your perspective, and this is a gift you can give yourself each day. If you find yourself feeling pessimistic or overwhelmed, a little gratitude can get your attitude back on the right track. Gratitude is free, enjoyable, and effective. Practice gratitude each day with these actions: •._.••´¯``•.¸¸.•` 1. Write it down. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••._.• Make a daily habit of writing down a few things that you can be grateful about. °°·._.· 2. Avoid making comparisons. ·._.·°¯°·.·° When you compare one thing to another, you demean it. Be grateful for something exactly as it is. This applies to people and things. *-.,_,.-*3. Tell people you’re thankful.*-.,_,.-* Show people that you’re grateful by thanking them. Be thankful and let them know about it. #abundantlife ᴋɪᴍʙᴇʀʟᴇᴇ ᴅᴇɴᴇɪᴄᴇ 💚🤞🏾 🆂🅰🆅🅴 🅰🅽🅳 🆂🅷🅰🆁🅴 this reminder 📥 ——————————————————- 👉🏾Follow @kimberleedeneice 👉🏾Follow @kimberleedeneice 👉🏾Follow @kimberleedeneice . . . . . #lifecoach #christianlifecoach #empowermentcoach #christianinfluencer #blackchristianinfluencer #motivation #mentalhealth #gratitude #positivevibes #personalgrowth #growthisaprocess #growth #personalgrowth #personaldevelopment #saltandlight #flourish #flourishing #faithlikeaboss
Instagram LogoOn this day, we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He was a tireless fighter for the civil rights of African Americans. I felt it necessary to dedicate my first post of 2022 to him. Often we reflect on the legacy left by leaders and many of those reflections are the same. Living in Memphis, TN all of my life, the place where Dr. King was assisinated, gives a different perspective. For a number of years I have served and organized volunteers. It is just what we do, without question. Many of our school fieldtrips were dedicated to visiting the National Civil Rights Museum. As I was taking time to personally reflect today, I thought about Dr. King and any lessons I could take and apply to my life as an entrepreneur. While this list is not exhaustive, it is a start. Looking at Dr. King's life, here are entrepreneurship insights. 1. Start with Why. We should always lead with our why instead of our what. Dr. King didn't go around telling people what they needed to change in America; he shared with them what he believed. They didn't show up for him, they showed up for themselves. Show up for yourself. Remember your whay and start with that. 2. Walk the Talk. All too often, we see people who don't practice what they preach. True trailblazers are those who keep sight of the destination while braving the obstacles along the way and also embrace the risk that come with it. 3. Be Upfront. You have people under your charge as an entrepreneur. You have to be honest with them. No one wants to feel like they got duped by the people in charge or feel like they didn't really know what they were signing up for. Dr. King was concerned with civil liberties for the poor and oppressed but he was also a brilliant leader. He prevailed against incredible odds. We can all take notes from this giant of American leadership. #martinlutherkingday #mlk2022 #entrepreneurshiplessons #entrepreneurlife #entrepreneurs #lifecoach #leadership #leadershiplessons
