Instagram LogoThe strength of a nation is in who holds the economic power. We saw the power tussle, and we saw how feeble looking men controlled a major part of the nation. They had two remarkable advantages. People and finances. (Influence and money) We also saw how we got played because we lacked these two things where it mattered the most. Instructions don’t carry out themselves. People do. And they are empowered to. Money creates positions. The essence of this post is to encourage us. The revolution has begun. But there’s still a lot of preparation. You have to have these two advantages at every point in your life. Build a community and have resources that empowers them to fulfill purpose. Otherwise, you will always be an easy casualty. Before now, you had no reason to be wealthy. But you can see that your loved ones can be bullied and harassed by officials, and you will be helpless. You can be caught up in the midst of a bloody curfew, and you won’t have the means to get to safety. You can have your entire source of livelihood burned down in a heartbeat, and you will have to begin from square one. You can desire to leave Nigeria, but you don’t even have the one or two clothes to start with. A Passport is too far fetched. Out of your league. You didn’t have a reason to want more. Here’s me trying to give you one. You never help anyone by being helpless or without options. Money gives you options and most times, people. Money doesn’t solve all the problems, but it reduces them drastically. Seeking to be wealthy is no longer luxury or ambition. It’s survival. You have to do it. For your children. And in the coming days, as much as possible, I’ll show you how to begin. I owe it to you. #gracechristos #paidwriter #wearenigeriancreatives #nigeriancontentcreator #nigeriancreatives #lagoscreatives #endsars #financialfreedom #freelancewriters #everythingnaart #instaboosteracademy #jooget #tribecalledena #tmctribe
Instagram LogoI always knew the legal system was flawed, and as someone who likes to put in 100% in work, and expect that kind of returns, I wasn’t ready to put in ? in law and I still become at the mercy of someone’s incompetence somewhere. So law never got all of my attention. It was always the side chic (always will be). Until I heard about ALUU 4 and then, one other 9 year old jungle justice, and a thousand others!! Each broke and took a part of me. And I thought just maybe, I could make a difference with criminal law. So I thought. Until Nigeria opened me up to reality. Let me show you how flawed the system is. NO POLICE or any other force according to law is entitled to use force, manhandle, put you in handcuffs or any other degrading act, until they sense danger, or have a reasonable cause for that. It’s your right to know this. But what constitutes “reasonable cause”? They determine this, so we are at their mercy. Your house or any property of your choice CANNOT be searched without a warrant shown to you. You should know this too. You can be searched without warrant if you are considered suspicious. They also determine what suspicion mean. You CANNOT be arrested and detained until you are told why, in a language you understand, and have access to a lawyer of your choice (all within 24 hours). But that is fairytale in application. We have thousands of people unlawfully detained, for years!! You should know this. Ending SARS is a first step. But don’t let it be the only step. There’s so much more work to be done. Start by downloading the Anti Torture Act (pdf) using Google so you’ll be AWARE of what rights you have. Knowledge is a step in the right direction. #endsars #endsarsnow #endsarsbrutality #endsarsprotests #paidwriter #gracechristos #wearenigeriancreatives #nigeriansprotest #nigeriancontentcreator #nigeriancreatives #lagoscreatives #abujacreatives #
