Exercising with bad backs.

Many exercise classes don’t take into consideration people with lower back pain. I mean how can you do an aerobics class or any high impact class when you get pains from the impact?
And when you’re constantly searching for some exercise that your body is able to do, it can be extremely frustrating and you give up but then you realize that giving up is not an option for you.
I get it because I’ve been there too and have helped many others like you. But first you need to accept that what you’re doing or rather what you are not doing is not working.
So instead of giving up hope and feeling there is nothing for you, here’s what you can do to finally start moving again and gaining some control of your back pain.
#1 - Hip Circle exercise. One of my favourite lower back releasing exercises is hip circles. Feet hip distance apart or wider and gently circling your hips.
#2 - Stretch out tight glute muscles and ease sciatica with this stretch
#3 - Strengthen your core safely with knee lifts. Come onto all 4’s, hands underneath the shoulders, knees underneath the hips and gently lift your knees off the floor, a couple of cm’s. Strengthening the core helps support your back as when the core is strong it helps to keep the back strong.
If any of these are too much to start off with, try a hot bath or hot sauna to help the muscles relax.
Even if you do one of these things consistently, you’ll finally start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. And you’ll experience gradual freedom from your lower back pain.
Comment on YouTube and let me know if you tried these?
If you are wanting to start a Yoga or Pilates class I attach my timetable.
Have a great day!
