How Dave Got His Active Lifestyle Back

Is back pain getting in the way of your favorite activities? A sport, perhaps? Or just being able to enjoy yourself as a young parent? 

Today, I want to share the good news with you.


It is possible to live the life you deserved. 

I was able to do it. And my client, Dave, is starting to live his life in his own terms too. Let me tell you his story.


Dave felt like an old man in his early 40s.

Dave is only forty years old but already feels like he’s in his 70’s. He has been enduring pain and discomfort on his lower back and at the back of his legs and knees for as long as he can remember.

In the last 3 years, the pain became more regular – putting Dave in constant episodes of pain. He barely plays golf anymore, a sport he loved doing every other day. He could not even carry around and enjoy playing with his four-year-old kid. 

The final straw? It’s that time when he can no longer function properly at work.



Could Pilates be the solution?

Countless therapies and massages after, he still struggled with his lower back pain. 

“I have tried countless therapies and sports massages. I even spent around a thousand dollars on Osteopath – but nothing worked!”

Dave finally got motivated to join a Pilates class but kept on postponing because he was scared and intimidated to be the only man in the class. So, he tried to do exercises at home but was not getting the results he wanted.

Dave wants to be free of pain in a year, play with his kid again and continue to play golf – like any man in his early 40s should be able to do with ease.

He was on the verge of giving up when we met. And our sessions are starting to turn his life around. 


Just like Dave, I know you have been putting off opportunities, saying no to things you love, and probably been struggling with mundane tasks like bending over to tie your shoes because you’re afraid it will trigger your back pain to act up.
