Instagram LogoIt’s Saturday, the end of work week for some of us. And though Workweek May be over, family is still there to look after, or even a side hustle to run to. Whatever it is, it’s imperative that you take some time for yourself. Yes you hear this all the time but how about you look at it from another angle. Healing yourself. All the emotions you’ve carried around all week; fear, anxiety, sadness, worry, are all symptoms of emotional wounds. Some you’ve been carrying around from childhood, some you’ve even gotten so used to that you almost don’t recognize when you slip into that state. The great thing here is, healing doesn’t mean you have to go make some super grand gesture, and it most certainly doesn’t matter whether you’re religious or not, it could be as simple as taking 30 mins for yourself to catalogue the experience you’ve had so far this week then figure out how you’re gonna RECALIBRATE for the next week. There are so many unbelievable things that you can do to soothe your mind and soul, when done with awareness, focus and the right intentions. Matter of fact, some of them you already do (?) You’re not only “healing” yourself, you’re lighting the path towards the greatness that you’re here to achieve in a state of joy and light and love. I’m gonna be sharing some of these tools tomorrow at the Conscious Calibration ™ workshop. Live here on Instagram at 7:30pm CAT. Share this with someone you are bringing along. . . . . . . , . . . . . . . . . . #blackempath #yogateacher #yoga #yogisofcolor #blmrocketyoga #blackyogismatter #africanspirituality #yogastudent #knowbetterdobetterchallenge #colorsofyoga #blackmendoyoga #meditation #yogaforall #yogi #blackyoga #blackhealers #sourcecode #yogapractice #blackvegan #blackgirlmagic #yogaeverydamnday #blackyogi #africanreligions #sistersofyoga #yogaofcolor #blackgirlyoga #yogalove #yogainspiration #happygirlsaretheprettiest #blackyogasuperstars
