Stop Feeling Sorry For Yourself Now

Sep 02, 2020 6:38 pm

This is going to be intense.

On May 18th, 2011, Darren Rouse hit "publish" on a story that was written by Jon.

This "Jon" guy was able to convince Darren (who owned and operated one of the top blogs in the world at the time), to let him to be a guest author on said blog.

Now, before you say to yourself "who cares about a blog...or blogs in general," there's a reason I'm telling you this. A reason that's way bigger than a "blog." It goes to the title of the email you just opened.

I Don't Remember

I don't remember how I stumbled upon Jon's blog post several years ago, but I'm glad I did. And I'm especially glad I ran across it and read it again a few days ago. And why am I telling you about this?

Look. I probably don't have to tell you that times are tough. There's been a lot of deaths, job losses, and business closings. All of us have been affected by the pandemic in one way or the other.

It's certainly a wonderful time to feel sorry for yourself. Now here comes the good part...

Read the post Jon wrote. (The link to it is below)

When you're finished, I'd love for you to hit reply and tell me what you thought of it.

But more importantly, I want you to tell me how you felt after reading it. Trust me on this, okay?

Please read it.
