Whenever I talk to a potential franchise buyer, I ask this question:
"Why now?"
As in, what is going on in your life that's making you look into becoming your own boss through franchising?
So...what is it?
Why now?
It should be easy to answer.

When you're on the phone with franchisees, ask them this question:
"Knowing what you know now, if you had to do it all over again, would you buy this franchise-and why or why not?"
