How would you define a perfect franchise to buy and own?

Some ideas:

• A franchise opportunity that allows you to earn six figures within 5 years
• A franchise opportunity that doesn't require you to be on-site 12 hours a day, but can make lots of money
• A franchise opportunity that doesn't require a large number of employees for you to make a decent living
• A franchise opportunity that is low-investment and low-risk

What other characteristics would a franchise opportunity have to have for you to call it perfect?

Franchise Buying Tip:

Don't only look at one franchise opportunity in one franchise segment.

Instead, contact one or two competitors. See what they offer.

They may or may not offer a better opportunity for you to make money and grow a business. But at least you looked at alternatives!
