Hello Entrepreneur!

Hi there,
I hope I don't disappoint you too much with what I'm about to tell you. It has to do with being an entrepreneur. And a portion of it is from from my hardcover book, "Become A Franchise Owner!" Here goes.
There’s something you need to understand about the franchise business model, and that’s what it isn’t. It isn’t a very entrepreneurial model.
Are you disappointed? Have you been telling your friends that you’re thinking about becoming an “entrepreneur?” Whoops.
There are a couple of reasons I’m bringing this up.
1. I need to make it clear to you that becoming a franchise owner means you’re investing in someone else’s entrepreneurial vision.
2. If you’re going to become a franchise owner, you need to live and breathe the concept of franchising. You also need to be aware of some of the debates that have been taking place concerning franchising -- especially the one about franchise owners not really being true entrepreneurs.
That said, you must always keep the following fact in mind: the person who came up with the concept for the franchise you're looking into-- who invented and established its system -- is the true entrepreneur.
That means it is not the individual franchisee -- which means that it’s not you.
If you fully understand that, you’ll be that much closer to being a successful money-making franchise owner.
Note: there are usually a few entrepreneurial things you can do when you're a franchisee. Okay?
Franchise Tip: if you're interested in a newer franchise opportunity, it's going to take much longer to do your research. That's because there are less people (franchisees) to talk to. But you could end up with a winner, despite the risk.
