Instagram LogoLast night at 11:18pm, @safffiah asked me: “Esok 10am nak nikah, can you come to MTAJ? Need an ad hoc person to take pictures. ?”. I initially couldn’t make it because of work, so I legit was scrambling trying to find a way to make it up to Saf and help her get good photos of her nikah. Sent a tweet out with the hopes that I can find a last minute photographer to help capture the moment. Also contemplated just sending Aiman over as a proxy. Around 12:30am, @bro_pidot reached out to me saying that he was available, and we confirmed the job by 7:15am. Went into school for work at 7:30am and casually mentioned to my manager & colleague that my best friend had to get married earlier than planned because of the MCO, and my manager asked me “Are you sure you don’t want to go to the wedding?”. Long story short, I got Aiman to pick me up and drove me to Bukit Jelutong. Managed to find a florist (@thefloweraffair) who was opened at 9:30am to get a small bouquet of flowers and some balloons (lol) and surprised the bride & groom as they arrived for one of the biggest moments of their lives. Yay @safffiah - you’re married now Alhamdulillah! Welcome to the married club!! I hope you & Riswan will grow to be more in love with one another and may your marriage be blessed with lots of happiness & joy, insyaAllah. Aiman & I are genuinely so so happy for you two and wish you all the very best as you set sail on this next phase of your life as a wife. Thank you to @fn.photo.pictures for the very last minute but amazing job at capturing the day, ❤️. I still find it hilarious how I’m in super casual clothings but the bride looks stunning and that’s all that matters. Okbye Saf loveyou loads tahniah dah kahwin, lepas ni roadtrip no more us sharing a room together wiwiwi. Riswan, please take good care of her forever okay!
