Hello again, all pre-orderers!

You’ll be receiving these group emails only during the pre-order phase and through to production completing. I won’t be bothering you unnecessarily, but thought it’s nice for you to periodically hear from me and how things are going.

Good news and bad news… 

Bad first? 

We’re only half way towards funding the new printing, and it’s not looking likely to get to the required amount of pre-orders. I think the tariff news and rumours around it all in social media has deterred many from placing a pre-order, even though that situation is now sorted here in my end, and there’s no disruption after all in shipping from the UK to the US. And no additional cost to recipients in the US, as I will cover the 10% tariff fee at the point of shipping.

And then the Good...

I’m in the process of moving house, and will be taking on a loan for immediate renovations that need doing on the property (it’s an old one, built in 1890 so a few things to take care of before being able to establish my work space there) so I now consider increasing that loan amount to cover the second half of the funding for the new print-run! I’m so adamant not to disappoint anyone who has currently placed a pre-order, therefore looking at such potential solutions. So I’m inclined to say that yes, I will do my utmost to have this go ahead no matter what, and those who want the Spirit Carrier oracle deck, will have it after all! (And of course, as I’ve said before, IF the printing was to not happen, you will all receive full refund for your pre-order.) But because I'm both persistent and defiant, I clearly envision you doing amazing readings with the Spirit Carrier oracle in not too distant future!

Another consideration:

I was discussing this project with the production company last week, and apparently they will be installing a new printing machine in October. This will be right at the time when I was going to submit the files for production, so it may be that my printing would go ahead more towards the end of October instead. They're excited about their new machine on the way because it will speed up their production times considerably, so I’m hopeful there will still be enough time to start shipping early to mid-December. 

I’m sure every single one of you, myself included, have noted the intense, volatile energy atmosphere we’re all living through in our lives at the moment. Some of you may follow and be knowledgable about the current planetary transits, such as Uranus turning retrograde (today), the full moon eclipse in Virgo (tomorrow) etc. Riding these waves always vitalises my creative process and the nudges and inspirations that flow through as a result. So to follow such a strong demand from my crystals and runes, I’m hoping to create an additional gift for all of you who are taking part in this pre-order. Perhaps also somewhat selfishly, because turns out - I myself desperately need one specific card message more. Thus, if I find a way to make it happen, you all will have it too. That would make me very happy indeed. But because the production machine prints sheets of 78 cards, that’s what the 2nd edition deck will remain at. Still, I’m in talks with them about the logistics of my latest brainwave. Whilst I don’t want to raise any hopes, I needed to voice this, because when I’ve said it out loud, it has to then happen, right? I’ve not yet heard back from the printing company as to the effects of this on costs. They suggested a less pricey card stock, but I will NOT change to anything else, that’s for sure - the card stock absolutely has to remain the same as in the 1st edition, even though it is the most expensive in their selection. Those of you who have the 1st edition know how beautifully the cards shuffle! But basically, if I can make this happen, those among you who have pre-ordered the full 2nd edition deck, would then have one extra card as a gift (fits in the same box). And those of you, who have ordered the new 3-card set separately for your 1st edition deck, would have the one extra card as a gift, too, thus receiving 4 instead of 3 cards in your set. All card entries would be included in the 2nd edition guidebook. The card design is ready, but I will not show it to you until I confirm whether this sudden dream of mine is feasible and realistically happening. (It must! It must!)
