You’re receiving this email because you have pre-ordered either the Spirit Carrier oracle deck 2nd edition, and/or the new guidebook, or the set of additional 3 new cards. I use this group email as a way to give you updates through this pre-ordering period, so that you know how everything is progressing and that I haven’t forgotten you. At any point, you can reply to this email and reach me directly.

If you live in the USA and have pre-ordered a full deck, you have already received one email from me a few days ago regarding the tariff situation. I hope you received it. I’ll talk about this more below.

For the full deck 2nd edition printing to go ahead, I will need a minimum of 40 pre-orders to fund the production. The pre-orders have been open for 11 days so far, and there is now the same amount of pre-orders for the full deck. If this rate carries on until the end of September, we might just about make it to production. That would be nice. But rest assured, if we don’t reach the 40 pre-orders and the new printing doesn’t happen, I’ll refund everyone in full.

As to the pre-orders for the set of additional 3 new cards, this is definitely happening, that’s confirmed. There are already 53 pre-orders for this card trio, so no problem there. Those who already have the original 1st edition deck, will be getting their pre-order of the 3 new cards for sure.

The USA tariff situation -

Still yesterday the situation seemed utterly dire, with no possibility of sending anything from the UK to the US before February 2026. However, only this afternoon news came out that UK’s national postal service (Royal Mail) is working overtime to implement a system which would allow senders (like myself) to pay duties at the point of shipping - meaning no waiting until February 2026, and no flat fee of $80 per package, so there would be “only” the 10% tariff + some admin fees to be covered, which was going to be the case from February 2026 onwards. This would be ideal, as I would not need to wait until February to ship the decks to the USA (if the new printing indeed goes ahead). There is also some talks that books would be among tariff-free items, which would be great - all the guidebooks sorted. I will update you again when I know more. I will most likely keep the current 10% discount code running until the end of August now, to benefit the early birds among you. I had assumed the 10% would be paid by the recipient when the package arrives (as is usually the case with customs duties). But since the system most likely will now be such that I will pay the 10% at the point of shipping to you, that’ll be an additional cost and I will cover that for you. It’ll all be okay in the end! Especially if there are no fees for you to pay when receiving the deck, that would be ideal.

If we reach 40 pre-orders and the new printing goes ahead, if you are located in UK, Europe, Australia or Canada, I'll send your deck (or guidebook, or 3 new cards) to you as soon as they come out of production, currently expecting that to be late November or early December.

I’ll send you a new update around mid-September on how the pre-orders are going and how close we might be for the new printing to happen.
