but it’s one of the most helpful tools I’ve picked up for making communication smoother—especially when it comes to project management and just getting stuff done.

That’s it.

Two simple questions.

But the combo of your answers tells you your communication modality—and when you know it, everything starts to flow better.

I’m a listener-talker.

Which means audiobooks, podcasts, and voice notes are my jam.

I even installed a browser extension that reads articles and emails out loud for me.

Yep, I “listen” to my inbox.

It’s not weird, it’s just how my brain works.

And once I stopped fighting that and started working with it, everything got easier.

Same goes for how I work with clients.

I show up better in voice and video than in long written messages.

So I lean into that.

Even these emails—I write them the way I talk.

Because that’s what feels natural.

And when things feel natural, they flow.
