🟩 It didn’t break overnight

Hi ,
You ever notice how things rarely fall apart all at once?
It’s usually not one big explosion.
It’s a quiet drift.
A slow unraveling that sneaks up on you.
By the time you do notice something’s off… it’s already been off for a while.
Sometimes the problem smacks you right in the face — like a lost deal or a dead month.
Other times?
It takes years to realize what changed.
And in sales, that delay is deadly.
Because if you don’t have systems in place that show you when something shifts — you won’t catch it until the damage is already done.
You need to notice when:
- Fewer cold emails are turning into meetings
- Your meeting-to-close rate starts dipping
- Your average deal cycle stretches out
- Your deal size shrinks without you realizing it
If you’re not tracking these signals, how are you supposed to adapt?
Most sellers I know are overwhelmed and overworked not because they’re lazy or undisciplined…
…but because they’re flying blind.
They’re pouring effort into the wrong places and guessing at what’s working.
So if you want to stop spinning your wheels and actually make progress — you’ve got to start noticing.
Noticing is what separates the drifters from the pros.
And your whole career is made of what you don’t notice… until it’s too late.
