Self Care is a necessity NOT a luxury

Hello lovely


As you all know I am an advocate of whole person wellness, though it is Mental Health Awareness month so it is worth highlighting some of the ways in which you can support yourself.


I was fortunate to be interviewed for Authority Magazine on this very topic and it went live on their website today.

Here’s a sneaky peak…


Breathing- Taking time out and slowing down, even if only for a few minutes, can be enough to tune into your body and mind. Breathing is one of the key things you can incorporate to help you tune into your body and relax your mind. I would suggest finding a quiet space where you can sit or lay comfortably, and begin focussing on your breathing. Breathe in and out through the nose and focus on how the breath feels as it moves in and out of the nostrils. If your mind wanders, come back to focussing on your breath. Try it for a few minutes and feel the sense of calm.”

Self care is so important- remember you can’t pour from an empty cup, so make sure to refill yours regularly.
