How's Traffic?

How’s traffic so far this year? Are you enjoying the ride in the fast lane, or feeling like you’re stuck in a roundabout?

If things are going well, set it on cruise control and enjoy the ride. If it feels like there are too many crazy drivers on the road and you’re not sure about your destination, don’t be afraid to pull over and ask for directions.

Yield to Oncoming Traffic

Traffic circles are popping up all over the country and have been a normal part of daily travel in Europe for a long time.

The rules don’t change much from one circle to the next.

Yield to oncoming traffic.

Work your way in when a safe opening presents itself.

Maintain your speed once you’re in the flow.

Use your signal when exiting the circle.

Easy peasy. Just like clockwork, except counterclockwise.

Traffic circles are a lot like life. It helps when you know where you’re going. It’s easier if you don’t get distracted. And being confident, without being reckless, goes a long way in getting you where you want to go.

Drive safely.
