How To Run a Stand Up That Teams Love πŸ’œ

Hey there!

An update from the somewhat rapid decision to sell our homeβ€”we are under contract! We made the decision to sell our home, and 10 days later had it ready for showings this past weekend. The house showed up on various sites and MLS early Friday morning and there were something like 17 showings that day and another 25 on Saturday and I forget how many Sunday. That generated 12 offers, and we selected one!

Now, this is our first time selling a home so we're learning a lot as we go, but we are essentially trying to not touch our home while our buyer has things checked out and all of that. The house has never looked better anyway, but it means leaving the house for a few hours here or there.

Changing gears, I consider writing to be one of my strengths. So in an afternoon last week, I wrote a booklet that I hope I turn into a series of booklets. Each one will focus on a single topic and help groups significantly improve on that topic. The one I wrote last week is about fixing stand-ups. You know, those meetings every team has in the morning that almost everyone dislikes and thinks is a waste of time. I know how to fix them, and this booklet is my crash course on how to do it. A good stand-up can de-risk a $24,000 sprint.

I'm having it edited soon, but it's more or less ready to go right now. I'm selling it for $6. If you buy it now, you'll get all future updates and the print-and-fold version that I'll create as well (So you can keep it handy or hand a copy to someone who really needs it).

Get The Book

And if you buy the book I'd love you to tell me what you think about it and how it helps. Who knows, maybe your quote will wind up in the book!

Sincerely,

Ryan Latta
