Here's my weekly update for September 11th, 2020...
🗒️ Apply to Jobs You Don’t Want
When I mentor people trying to land their first few jobs in development, I often encourage them to apply to multiple jobs a week.
I’m commonly told there aren’t that many good ones out there.
I was working with a group, and we were starting a new project.
In this particular case, one group thought the project was for one set of users with a scope set.
Another thought the goal was different, and yet another thought there was an other stakeholder.

Earlier today, I was in a conversation with Jabe Bloom about architecture.
In my slowness to figure out what we were talking about, I thought we were talking about something else entirely.
