Wednesday’s Prayer — December 14, 2022

Come, Lord Jesus. It’s a good morning. I can’t put my finger on why I feel this way—because it is COLD out there!—so it must be You. You make absolutely everything better and I am so thankful. You continue to pour blessings into my life and I need Your help in managing it all successfully. Help me prioritize and not avoid things I don’t want to do. Order my steps in Your Word. Bless those who are sick and can’t get well, Father. You are the master physician that heals us. Raise everyone up from their sickbeds and give them full recovery and good health. You have given me such a positive outlook on life that I am grateful for. Let everyone feel your presence, love, and care in their lives. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray. Amen

Come, Lord Jesus. I am grateful You woke me up this morning. Even though I didn’t get much sleep, You restore me and prepare me for whatever comes. Thank You for always giving me what I need. Bless me to command my day today, Father. Give me strength, focus, and wisdom in all I do. Teach me to always listen to Your voice and obey Your guidance in every matter. Bless those in war zones and places of violence, Lord. Protect them from harm and give them futures of freedom and joy. Restore them and the land to their fullness. Let there be peace on earth. I am so glad I get to have Your company as I go about my day. May I never forget that You are there and call on You often. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray. Amen

Come, Lord Jesus. So excited that Christmas is coming, I can hardly stand it. I can’t wait to celebrate Your Son coming into the world. The season of Advent is ramping up my hopes for Your coming. Cover me with Your energy of purpose and productivity today, Lord. Bless the works of my hands and allow me to produce good fruit in all that I do. Direct me according to Your plans. Bless those experiencing dangerous weather conditions, Father. Keep them safe, warm, and dry. Bless those working to keep others safe. Let the storm be gentle and pass. I give You thanks and praise for all the goodness and mercy You shower me with. May it be this way for all of Your children. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray. Amen
