Wednesday’s Prayer — January 4, 2023

Happy Birthday, Jesus! So thankful for You waking me up this morning, then waking me up again after I fell back asleep. You are the letter and the Spirit of the law, yet still acting with grace and mercy. Help me to have a calm and productive day today, God. Set my agenda and give me the discipline and focus I need to succeed. Let me stay centered in and focused on You in all I do. Bless the caregivers in the world, dear Lord. Be the wind beneath their wings and give them refreshment and an extra dose of joy. Support them in every aspect of their caregiving. There’s none like You, LORD. You created the earth, the heavens, and all that they contain. You are worthy to be praised. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray. Amen

Happy Birthday, Jesus! Thank You for life and life more abundantly today. You always come through with everything I need and more. I have joy in my heart simply from giving You thanks and praise. Allow me to have a great day back at work. Give me the initiative and focus I need to tackle the tasks before me. Bless the works of my hands to produce good fruits for all. Bless everyone’s New Year’s resolutions, Father. Give them the good things they are desiring. Bless them with discipline and favor so they may become their best selves in You. Help me to lift You up in everything that I think, say, and do. Your guidance is all I need to make it through every challenge. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray. Amen

Happy Birthday, Jesus! It’s still the Christmas season and I’m so excited to wake up this morning and celebrate Your birth. You are the gift that keeps on giving. Thank You for coming into the world and saving me. Bless me to continue to start the new year off well with a productive and focused day. Direct me in every matter so things will go well with me. Help me to be a blessing to others. Bless those that never have enough of the basic necessities, Lord. Blanket them with Your provision to take care of their basic needs. Provide for them out of Your riches in glory. Your kindness gives my every good thing and I am so grateful. Thank You for being the God that never leaves or foresakes me. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray. Amen

Happy Birthday, Jesus! It’s a great morning for the newborn Prince of Peace! I am over the moon that You have been made flesh and dwell among us. I can’t believe You love us enough to go through all this. I pray that You would be the center of not just my day but the whole of my life. Let me rededicate myself to You today. Help me to seek, hear, and obey Your will in every matter. Bless those who are in prison, Father. Send them people to visit them. Let Your light shine in even the darkest places and give them hope and a future. Draw them closer to You. It is always a great day to praise the Lord but this feels like an incredibly awesome one. Thank You for making my joy complete. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray. Amen

Friday’s Prayer — December 30, 2022

Happy Birthday, Jesus! I am so excited when I wake up and realize Your Son has come into the world, not to condemn it but to save it. That lets me know there is hope for all of us and my prayers are not in vain. Help me to have a great day today. Let me be laid back yet productive and happy. Let me whistle while I work. Help me to focus on others today more than myself and be grounded in You. Comfort and console those mourning the loss of people who perished in the winter storm, Father. Bless those in need of rescue and resolve things without any further loss of life or damage. You are the maker of heaven and earth and all that they contain. I can’t wait to see what you have planned for creation today. It is in Jesus’ name and for his sake I pray. Amen
