☀️ A weekly diary filled with nature, vegan snacks n’ connection. This is your reminder to plan your free time with intention (esp if you’re a type A person that fills up your free time with work OR someone who defaults to Netflix n’ Tiktok filled weekends when you don’t have plans). A book to read if you’re interested in making the most out of life by planning your free time is The Power of Moments by Chip and Dan Heath - it’ll make you completely rethink how you live.

Appreciate you!!

✨ Leveraging anticipation and anticipatory joy is often greater than the joy brought to us by experiencing the very things we anticipate. ✨ That's why every thirteen weeks I create an experience list using my life map planner via @lifemapcollective, then try and plan as many of those things in as I can. Having things to look forward to in life is *important*. Things to look forward to can look like: ✨ Pumpkin carving for halloween ✨ A day of baking + tunes ✨ A "favourite things" day ✨ A day of Christmas Decorating or Christmas light looking ✨ A day lazing by the pool reading a smutty fiction book A lot of people around the world are moving in to lockdown. What's something someone *in lockdown* could plan in to look forward to?
How to Distance Yourself from Your Decisions Decisions - like whether to have a roommate or whether to move out on your own, whether to go to uni or whether to take a gap year or whether to keep being friends with someone or whether to distance yourself completely shape your life. Here are a few ways to make better decisions: ✨ The 10/10/10 rule - Ask yourself: How will I feel about this in 10 minutes? How will I feel about this in 10 months? How will I feel about this in 10 years? ✨ Ask: What would you tell your best friend to do? - We often know exactly what we'd tell our best friend to do, but struggle to give ourselves the same advice. ✨ Ask: If you were fired from your life and replaced, what would that new person do? Outsiders perspective is life changing and magical.
#ad Look at these comfy + cute @vivaia_official shoes casually made from six discarded plastic bottles (mine are in natural peach!). These bbs have natural latex insoles with no extra wasted materials, carbon free rubber outsoles and recycled packaging. Their footwear is also seamless for zero waste - and this style of flat, because of the durable material, can go in a cleaning cycle in the washer or a quick hand washing (I used a bar of soap when mine got a scuff and it worked perfectly). These shoes are super cushioning because they have v thick insoles, go with all of the things AND Vivaia offers free shipping + has a limited discount code for my community ✨ If you use MUCHELLEB at checkout from now up to the 27th of December, you'll get 15% off - After that, it will be 10% until the 1st of May 2021.
What's your favourite quote? My favourite quote used to be: "Nothing can make you feel inferior without your consent." - Eleanor Roosevelt My favourite quote right now is: "Easy choices hard life, hard choices easy life." -Jerzy Gregorek And there have been a few inbetween. What quote is resonating the most with you right now?
What's one book that's changed your life? ? *If you can write HOW, even better*. ✨ Side note: This beautiful top (so soft and comfortable) is from a small, ethical and sustainable brand @thefiniti - use 'MUCHELLEB' at checkout for 10% off of any order #gifted ✨ ✨ Books That Have Changed My Life ✨ There are a LOT, but.. The Life Changing Magic was huge for me, it was my BIGGEST catalyst for change. I also think it just came at exactly the right time for me / helped me in all the right ways at the stage I was in. + "How To Be Yourself" by Ellen Hendriksen helped me to understand my social anxiety + put myself out there a lot more than I otherwise would have (time to give that one a re-read). + "Come as You Are" by Emily Nagoski busted so many myths, misunderstandings and will literally just make your sex life better. - Also! after you read this book, do the Jaiya Blueprint Breakthrough quiz (give it a google - looks dodgy as ik but it's legit) - finding out my blueprint a while ago was such an aha moment.
Highly actionable notes on life.
