Do What Most People Wouldn’t Do

Aug 13, 2024 11:00 am

Hi ,

Doing what most people wouldn't do might seem a bit too contrarian for a race driver but that shouldn't be so. It merely means putting in the work required to make your racing career successful, something a lot of your fellow competitors, or would-be competitors, are just not doing. Last week I featured a video that explored this topic. Are you willing to do what most people wouldn't do?

Let's dive into all that I covered last week in News Racers Can Use.

Facing Challenges On and Off The Track

Facing challenges both on and off the track can be tough, but last week I featured some inspiration to help you navigate those challenges. I also shared four ways to kick-start your racing career in 2024, highlighted the importance of the phrase “if you can’t see it, you can’t be it,” and explored the differences between European and American development series. Do What Most People Wouldn’t Do

As I mentioned in the intro, last week featured simple but powerful advice on how you should do what most people wouldn’t do. Call it thinking outside the box or putting in that extra effort, whatever cliche you choose to use is fine. The point is to do what others wouldn’t do because they don’t want it as bad as you do.
