I hope this week is starting on high notes for you.


Today’s my birthday, and like every year, it’s got me thinking—about time, growth, and how grateful I am for you. Yes, you .

Seriously, the fact that you’re here, reading this, trusting me with your health journey at Ariella Health & Fitness? That’s the real gift. (Well, that and cake)  


But since we’re talking gifts… if you’re feeling extra festive, my love language is WhatsApp messages (hint: +2349022713581 or +2349122400623). No pressure—just saying if you’ve ever wanted to bless me with a voice note, a meme, or even a “Hey, happy birthday, Dr Chinasa,” today’s the day. 😉  


Now, because I can’t let a birthday pass without leaving you with something useful, here’s what’s on my mind: Your health isn’t a “later” thing.It’s the foundation of everything—how you show up for your dreams, your people, even your bad days. So if you’ve been putting it off, here are 6 crazy- simple things you can start today:  


1. Drink water first thing in the morning—before your phone, before anything—just water. Your body has been in drought mode all night. Hydrate it.  

2. Take a 5-minute “sanity walk.” No agenda, no steps goal. Just move and breathe. It’s a game-changer for stress.  

3. Eat one intentional meal. No screens, no rushing. Just you and your food. (Your digestion will thank you.)  

4. Stretch like a puppy. Seriously, reach your arms up, arch your back, roll your neck. You’re not “too busy” for 30 seconds of feeling human.  

5. Text someone who makes you laugh. Joy is healthy, too.  

6. Go to bed 15 minutes earlier. Yes, even if your Netflix queue is judging you.  


That’s it. No overhaul, no drama—just tiny wins that add up. Because you deserve to feel good now, not “after I’m less busy.”
