How I Went from Struggling to Thriving

Let me give you small gist . I’ll never forget the day I stepped on the scale at 16 and saw 80kg staring back at me. At that age, I didn’t fully understand what it meant for my health until my body started sending me signals I couldn’t ignore.
First came the asthma attacks, so bad I’d gasp for air after just a short walk. Then, hypertension crept in, and suddenly, I was a teenager on medication, feeling like my body was failing me. I knew something had to change, but I had no idea where to start.
Fast forward to today, and my life looks completely different. , fitness and healthy living didn’t just help me lose weight; they gave me my life back. No more hypertension scares, no more asthma attacks controlling my day. Just energy, strength, and confidence I never thought I’d have.
And here’s the thing: if I could do it, you can too. It’s not about extreme diets or punishing workouts. It’s about small, consistent changes that add up to a healthier, happier you.
Here are two simple tips you can start with today:
- Ditch sugary drinks. Swap sodas and juices for water or infused fruit water. This one change alone helped me drop my first few kgs. I have been off soda, packed juices, and malt for more than 12 years!
- Move for just 20 minutes a day. Take a short walk, dance to your favorite song, and get your body used to moving.
