Sunday Stir #52 - The Finale

Jan 02, 2022 11:41 pm

Happy Sunday! It’s year Two Thousand and Twenty Two. This was an extremely tough week for me and my family. We all got COVID and it was rough, especially for my little girl. What a way to finish up 2021, overcoming one final obstacle - COVID.

The World of the Sunday Stir

This is the 52nd episode of the Stir. I wrote this newsletter every week consistently for one year (minus 1 or 2 mess-ups). This was a big deal for someone who struggles to follow through on ideas until completion. I made the commitment and stuck to it so I’m proud of that. I’ve really enjoyed writing these each week - distilling the things I learn on a weekly basis and putting them into a simple format. It's given me a great outlet for information overload and provided a place for me to store the info.

Hopefully, you found the newsletter valuable and were able to think differently. Sometimes it's nice to get information that's completely outside of our normal realm of thoughts or ideas. Gives you a bit of a breather from the normal day to day we find ourselves in.

And hopefully, you were inspired. Inspired to make changes. To improve your life. To do things better.

This is the final episode. I'm not going to continue writing the Stir each week. I've got some other things I want to spend my time doing in 2022. However, down the road I may pick it back up but at a slower cadence - maybe once a month. If you have a strong opinion about what you would you like to see share it with me.

The World of Lighting

Lighting never ceases to amaze. Both of these shapes are the exact same grey. Use your finger to cover the middle part to help your brain.

The World of Wisdom

We really miss the sparkle and meaning in life when there’s nothing sacred or meaningful anymore. Is it really a coincidence that atheism is at its highest and society is the one of the most depressed, anxious, and suicidal ever? I think not.

Just like Jesus said: “You will know them by their fruits.” Bad trees produce bad fruit. And good fruit produces good fruit.

All of this supposed “freedom” has lead to millions of lost people desperately grasping onto vanity, materialism, sex, and status for fulfillment. Trying to fill a God-sized hole that will never be filled with stupid shit.

“There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of each man which cannot be satisfied by any created thing but only by God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ.” - Blaise Pascal

End Note - Thank You!

Thank you for subscribing to the Sunday Stir! It meant a lot to me that you paid attention, read the emails, and engaged in conversation. Thank you!

Until we talk again,

Brennen
