Instagram LogoI'm EMBARASSED to admit this! Back in 2007, when I was working in a start-up, I used to work for 18hrs a day. I was the last person to exit the building, around 3-4am in the morning. I loved my job, I was a VLSI Design Engineer. I like to get as much work done when I'm in my work ZONE. And when I'm in my ZONE, nothing bothers me! I wouldn't get up for hours from my chair, I skipped meals, I would hold in my pee and not drink any beverage. And the most EMBARASSING part was having my office right in front of the water station and not hydrating enough ? One would think, I'm LAZY, but it's not that. I did not want to lose my mojo when I'm in the ZONE! It feels silly now. I've enough distractions now to not go so long without getting up from my chair. When you do not get up and move for more than 2hrs, and do not hydrate you will experience: ?Joint pains ?Light headed ?Swollen and numb feet ?️Dry eyes ?Burning pee And over time, if this is a regular habit, chances are you will develop one or more of the following: ?High Blood Pressure ?High Blood Sugar Weight Gain or Loss ?High Cholesterol Levels ?Decreased Metabolism ?Cardiovascular Disease ?Tip1: You know you are hydrated enough when your pee is clear/ no color. ?Tip2: There are many apps that remind you to hydrate. I like to use Repeat Alarm, where I've set repeated reminders for various daily activities. Do you track how much water you have? Do you use any apps to remind you to hydrate? Love to hear from ya'll. #yourmealmatters #ponajella #water #hydrateyourself #hydrate
