Also, June 24 is cat world domination day! I’m not sure how we’re supposed to celebrate … just let the cats dominate, I guess. Fun fact: My email system warned me not to use "cat world domination day" in the subject line, because "domination" is a "bad word." ☺

We went to the mountain town of Ruidoso for the weekend, where it was cooler – with a high of only around 90°. Phil and I hiked 8 miles on the Grindstone Lake Loop, with a thousand feet elevation change. Then Phil played disc golf while I went to town and ate sushi. We drove home listening to the first Murderbot audiobook. A good day, but unfortunately Ruidoso is now surrounded by fires. New Mexico really need some monsoon rains! Here's a montage of our hike.
