Voice recognition mistake of the day: âBack in a sack.â ... or maybe in a sec? But I was, after all, writing a murder mystery, so perhaps they will be back in a body bag/sack. đ€
In the Accidental Detective humorous mystery series, a witty journalist solves mysteries in Arizona and tackles the challenges of turning fifty. (Iâm writing book 7 now!)
Our air conditioning went out for a few days. đ„” Once the new air conditioner part came (fortunately before temps hit 100 in New Mexico) and the inside temperature dropped, it got cool enough for Bear Bear the ferret to nap under the covers again. â„ïž
Did you know the Hoopla library app has several of my books? Did you know you can get e-books via Hoopla? Hoopla is connected to many local libraries (you sign up with your regular library card) but Hoopla has a different catalog, so it's a great way to find more e-books to borrow for free! I use the Albuquerque library system, which allows seven borrows from Hoopla each month. Other libraries vary.
Then you can use Library Extension, an app you install on your web browser. When you browse books on Amazon or elsewhere, it tells you if the e-book is available in Hoopla or if either the e-book or print is at your local library! Authors get paid a few cents when people borrow their e-books through a library, but it's free for you.

Fake Identity True Love: Friends to Lovers Sweet Romance Short Stories Collection, by Eva Stone: Short stories are nice for when you don't have a lot of extra time. Readers say these are well-developed quick reads. Each starts with two people meeting under unusual circumstances, where at least one of them isn't telling the truth about who they are.
