We had snow in New Mexico! I don’t remember getting snow this early in the twenty years I’ve lived here, in the middle of the state. (Farther north they get much more). It actually started as hail and then snowed heavily overnight. This is the following day when the sky cleared and the snow was starting to melt. Then it warmed up again.

In the News: Huge cat found etched into desert among Nazca Lines in Peru. The Nazca Lines, which are made up of hundreds of geometric and zoomorphic images, were created by removing rocks and earth to reveal the contrasting materials below. The feline Nazca line is dated to between 200BC and 100BC.

Cute of the day: The Unflattering Dog Photo Challenge Is Exactly What Humans in 2020 Need Right Now: Pups with goofy grins, floppy jowls, lolling tongues, and dripping hair. They are all very good doggos, of course. I like this because Christmas Cookies at the Cat Café opens with a scene of Diane trying to take portrait photographs of the cats, who are not cooperating.
