Southernism of the Week: Well color me pink and put me in a pig pen!

We’re enjoying cooler fall weather. Since Doug is in southern California and Chris is in New Mexico, October doesn’t necessarily bring the typical bulky sweaters and leaves changing colors. (Above is Chris's neighborhood.) But it’s green chile season in New Mexico, so that’s something! A few Halloween decorations are going up as well. Do you enjoy spooky things? 👻

Doug’s Rom Com Faves (Spooky Edition): Shaun of the Dead (2004)

Shaun’s girlfriend, Liz, dumps him for being a slacker. Will a zombie apocalypse give him the opportunity to win her back? This comedy-horror movie is hilarious, mildly scary, sometimes heartbreaking and sometimes heartwarming. The characters are loveable and Shaun and Liz feel like a realistic couple with realistic relationship problems.
