I'd love to get more reviews on this title, so if you pick it up and read it, please consider leaving one. If you read on Kindle, Amazon will typically give you the option to leave a review after the last page. (That means you might need to scroll past the back matter.) More on reviews below.

If you haven't yet gotten your copy of my free novella, Lions and Love at the Cat CafĂ©, you can get it here. For “13 of the recipes mentioned in Kris Bock's Furrever Friends Sweet Romance series,” go here.

Facebook reminded me of this Voice recognition mistake of the day: "I slipped my phone in my broth." This follows "review your work simpler breasts" and "I'm writing snorkel fiction." My life is so much stranger in voice recognition world.

Cat cafés in the news: The Cattery in Corpus Christi, Texas, is having a fundraising raffle: "Win 1 of 10 Amazon gift cards ranging from $50-$500 in this Social Distancing Approved event! Without our fundraisers, our shelter doesn't stay afloat, we can't help the kitties and we can't employ our staff. The 2020 Raffle will end on 9/18/2020. Tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20! It's not yet autumn in New Mexico, with temperatures in the 90s every day. Still, at night and in the early morning, you can tell fall is coming! We've been getting some great clouds and even (once) rain.

What to Follow: I love the zooborns Instagram account because, well, baby animals! Modern zoos typically provide comfortable natural habitats, and they’re important for protecting vulnerable species and maintaining species diversity through breeding programs. I found this video of a dolphin and Beluga whale swimming with their newborns incredibly relaxing.

Brain Mistake of the Day: I got a marketing email titled "How to find a cofounder," someone to partner with you in your business. Only I read it as "How to find a confounder." No thanks, I'm confounded enough already.

Cute of the day: Meet baby elephant Belle with this video of a day in her life! “Donor support has helped feed Little Belle, her mom, and over 1,600 elephants in sanctuaries and camps throughout Thailand!”

Law #2: Don't Play with a Player: A Sweet Office Romance (Laws of Love), by Agnes Canestri: a sweet, nerdy bookworm + a charming CEO: "If you enjoy a sweet office romance with heartwarmingly funny moments, bone-tingling chemistry, and lovable but flawed heroes, then you'll adore book two in Laws of Love series. In exchange, the communities agree not to harm snow leopards when they prey on livestock.

How do you write a review? Does it sound like a lot of work, or are you wondering what you could possibly say?

No way, reviews are easy! Amazon says you have to have 25 words minimum. That's all. You don't need to summarize the book. Simply say what you liked about it, and/or who else might like the book.

Here’s an example: “The second in this series is just as sweet as the first, and the characters, which we met in the first book, are even more rounded out and real. If Marley ever grows tired of Adam, I want him! The characters in this book are kind and earnest, which is so refreshing.”

That’s 50 whole words, so you only have to do half of that! To review one of my books, visit my Amazon US page or Amazon UK page. (For other countries click here.) Then click on the book, scroll down to reviews, and add yours. Thanks!
