Where Do You Go When Your Heart Hurts?
Feb 13, 2026 1:01 pm
Dear ,
Where do you go when your heart hurts?
What do you do with the ache that sits beneath the surface — the one you carry through your day while still showing up for everyone else?
Some people run toward distractions.
Some collapse inward.
Some pretend nothing is wrong.
And some simply go numb because feeling would cost too much.
But there is another way — a gentler way — to meet your hurting heart.
One that doesn’t rush you.
One that doesn’t demand answers.
One that lets you breathe again.
Who’s holding you this week?
If you had to whisper “no one” or “not in the way I need,”… I want you to know this: being unheld doesn’t mean being unworthy.
And if the answer leaves your chest tight, let today be the day you choose to hold your own heart — with the same devotion you give everyone else.
Below, I’m sharing a simple 3–5 minute ritual I created for this tender season.
It’s for the moments when your heart needs more than chocolate, wine, and roses; more than noise, more than expectations.
This is a way to return to yourself with truth and grace;
a doorway to your own arms. Love yourself :)
P.S. I would really love to have you join me tomorrow, Friday at 6:30 pm Eastern Time
