When someone is really proud to tell the story of how they lost 100 pounds, our brains start playing a routine.

We think: this person has been doing a lot of hard work for a long time.

We DON'T think: I wonder what surgeon removed all that extra fat for them.

Deep down, we understand that extraordinary results don't happen overnight. They instead require regular intervals of hard work.

Extraordinary results require consistent effort.

It could be learning how to code, taking photos, or being more charismatic in social settings.

And yes, we could also be talking about your fitness goals.

Where in your routine can you replace excuses with persistence?
