Instagram LogoDon’t let outside opinions hold you back from stepping into your full potential. ⠀ It’s so easy to get caught up in obsessing over what other people think of us and the things we put out in the world. Whether it’s a form of art, a new business idea, or whatever the case may be, we get so caught up in worrying about what they think, when we really should only care if we love it or not. ⠀ Create what you love and stand behind it passionately! Who cares if they don’t like it...you’ll always have haters. Just don’t let yourself be one of them... ⠀ Recently, I got to hop on @jasmine_q’s podcast and chat about creating what YOU love, breaking comfort zones, self awareness, and so much more. ⠀ We had a super genuine and vulnerable conversation that has a little something in it for everyone. ⠀ Link in bio to give it a listen :)
Instagram LogoATX WimHof Mornings ☀️ ⠀ A few shots I captured this morning at the weekly WimHof meetup at Barton Springs Pool. ⠀ I attend these regularly so it was fun to get out and capture some shots of the group. ⠀ We hold these meetups every week and anyone is more than welcome to join. It’s free! DM for details? ⠀ Big shoutout to @mindfulbellie for putting these on and letting me come capture the magic. ⠀ Video coming soon...?
Instagram LogoRecently got to hop on @parrsitivity94’s podcast and chat about breaking comfort zones, paving your own path, and much more. ⠀ Link in bio/stories to listen?

Instagram LogoStop waiting around on inspiration. ⠀ Have you ever found yourself waiting around on inspiration to start acting? ⠀ I personally have MANY times, especially in my creative projects. ⠀ However, waiting for inspiration with no action is actually just an endless cycle that will only lead you in circles. If you want to find inspiration and motivation in your life, start taking ACTION! ⠀ Once you start taking action, you will only be that much more motivated to keep acting more. I know starting isn’t always the easiest thing so here’s a quick formula to help you get started: ⠀ Pick ONE thing to accomplish this week that is going to grow you and push the needle forward in your life. That’s it. Just ONE. Then do the same thing the next. ⠀ I promise once you pick that ONE thing and start acting on it, the inspiration will flow! ⠀ Keep crushing it y’all? ⠀ ps. had to throw in a little tough love at the end there haha so I hope y’all don’t take it too personal? But hey, stop reading this and get off your butt and GET TO WORK?
Instagram LogoIf you want to learn how to sail, the best way is to just buy a boat. ⠀ We oftentimes obsess over wanting to have everything in life all figured out. What if instead we leaned into what the uncertainty holds for us? ⠀ Drop a comment and let me know your thoughts✌?
Instagram Logo“I bought a boat.” ⠀ This was the answer that my girlfriends grandpa gave her after she asked him how he learned how to sail. ⠀ I found this extremely beautiful as it painted such a perfect picture of running HEAD-ON at fear. Where as many people would choose to spend hours sifting through “Sailing for Dummies” before they even thought about buying a boat, he decided to go the opposite way and bought the boat first. ⠀ Most people never even “buy the boat” due to the crippling fear of failure. As a result, they miss out on truly LIVING and the ability to learn from their mistakes. ⠀ This morning, I posted a quote on my story from @markbatterson that says, “The cure for the fear of failure is not success. It’s failure.” ⠀ We must run at fear with a willingness to fail so that we may learn how to succeed. ⠀ So I want to encourage you not to run away from fear, but to run AT fear. ⠀ What are some things you can be doing to run head-on at fear? Drop a comment below⬇️
Instagram LogoFailure is not the enemy. The fear of it is. ⠀ What if instead of fearing failure, we viewed it as a learning opportunity? ⠀ Recently, I spent a few days at Lake Tahoe with my girlfriend, @gracefischmann and her family. While we were there on her grandpa's sailboat, she asked him how he learned to sail. ⠀ His response: “I bought a boat”. ⠀ Although he had no idea how to sail, he did not let that stop him from buying the boat. ⠀ Did he fail at first? Most likely. But it was only through failing that he was able to learn from his mistakes and actually learn how to sail. ⠀ Can you pinpoint a time in YOUR life when you were able to learn from failure? I would love to hear about it in the comments below! ⠀ For the rest of this story and to hear more about the importance of learning from failure, go click the link in my bio!
Instagram LogoLast week we talked about “just starting”. ⠀ But one of the most common problems people face after starting is finding ways to KEEP GOING. ⠀ My advice? Search your WHY! ⠀ What is it that pushed you to start in the first place? ⠀ Search this and chase after what FUELS YOUR PASSION! ⠀ What are some things that help you fuel your passion? Drop a comment and let me know!????
Instagram LogoSTOP seeking opportunity. ⠀ So many people drive themselves crazy chasing opportunity after opportunity. ⠀ What if instead we just kept ourselves open to opportunity and let it come to us? ⠀ I recently started an internship at @thriveonlife which was a perfect example of this in and of itself. On top of that, last week I found myself modeling on boats in only the second week of my internship. ⠀ This whole experience has really shown me how opportunity is truly everywhere. It is up to us though to be open to receiving it. ⠀ Can you think back to a specific time in your life when you had an opportunity pop up out of the blue? I would love to hear more about it in the comments below! ⠀ To hear the rest of my story and learn how you can be more open to opportunity, go click the link in my bio!
