Instagram LogoOften there’s resistance in people's minds when they’re presented with an opportunity that can help them move through life a lot easier than they currently are. Maybe you call it skepticism; I call it being comfortably complacent... “Why would I resist an opportunity that can help me relieve my struggles?” Probably a couple different reasons… Maybe you’ve been “burned” in the past by people promising you one thing & then delivering another. Maybe your subconscious is comfortable with the fact that your current situation is familiar & is scared of change. Example: I talk about tools, practices, and give advice about how to become someone that attracts ideal clients, has creative confidence, gets more done in less time, etc yet some people are still hesitant. It's chill, I’m not here to try and CONVINCE anyone of anything. I’m here to SHOW you what's possible in your life. It’s then up to you to take aligned action that puts you in a position that’s better than where you’re currently at. Either way, when you’re faced with an opportunity that can help better your life & you feel resistance, dive into that a bit further. Is it coming from a place of fear, or lack? Or is it TRULY out of alignment with what’s going to serve your future self.
Instagram LogoSometimes it feels like life is throwing us fast-pitch curve balls but we’re stuck without a bat & we have to either dodge or catch the things that are flying at us... When good things get thrown our way, we’re high on life! And when not-so-good things get thrown, we can get pretty down on ourselves, stressed out, filled with uncertainty. This kills our productivity, can dampen our relationships (including work relationships), reduces the quality of our output & so many more damaging outcomes... I call those curveballs of life clues… I believe that life is almost a game where we’re the investigators of our own life & it’s our mission to become curious (adopt a play-mindset if you will). When we approach life’s curveballs (good & “bad”) with an open mind, curiosity, and creative thinking, it opens up doors filled with opportunity. Next time life drops you clues, get curious & ask some questions (but don’t answer them… I know it sounds weird): How can it get any better than this? // What lesson can come from this? // Why has life chosen me to experience this? This puts you at an advantage by allowing you to look at all the various possibilities with an open mind & heart. When you do that, you appreciate the good things even more and detach/move forward from the “bad”.
