Scroll Break. If you're ever really wondering what colours look lovely together, just pause a moment and look around you - chances are you'll spot something to draw inspiration from. Also, this is a great technique to reduce anxiety - when you're beginning to feel overwhelmed: Pause, Close your eyes, Take a few deep breaths Then open your eyes and Find colour patterns that appeal to you. This is my version of an anxiety-reducing technique that uses the senses to bring your mind to the present. Typically your anxiety is rooted in the hyper-focus on an unhealthy and unproductive inner-dialogue of a future that hasn't even happened yet. If you can displace that focus to something in the here and now, sit with it for a moment and breathe - it can make solutions to current problems feel a bit more attainable.
