#43–Why do we "hate" selling, really?
Selling is leading (in a way).
When we choose ourselves to lead, it’s like declaring to the whole world that we believe in our ability to take on a higher level of responsibility.
As we do that, the Ghost of Need to Prove shows up and asks us, outraged, “Who do you think you are?”
It wants me to believe that, unless I can prove my ability to lead (code for, unless I can prove my worth), I have no right to choose myself.
But that's a lie. I don’t have to prove my worth. You don’t have to prove it either. Our worth as human beings is unquestionable.
The job of our True Self is to look the Ghost of Need to Prove in the eye and tell it, “I see you, but I don’t need you. I’ve got this.”
In other words: you see your fear, and go ahead anyways.
How have you have you been able to walk past your Ghost of Need to Prove?
Love,
Carolina
