I took a picture of this Certified Wildlife Habitat tucked into the neighborhood. 🌿 A small reminder that with a few thoughtful choices, any space—big or small—can support local wildlife and make a real impact.

OPTIMISM: 💖

COOL FIND: 🕵🏽‍♂️

image📢🎙️🇲🇽 This powerful Latino USA episode follows journalist Maria Hinojosa as she works to reclaim the Mexican citizenship she gave up decades ago. It’s a deeply personal story that taps into something bigger—why more people today are seeking dual citizenship, whether out of pride, protection, or possibility. A thoughtful listen on identity, belonging, and what it really means to call a place home. 👉 Listen to the full episode.

HOMEWORK: 📝

Check Your Roots 🇲🇽 Take a few minutes this week to see if you might qualify for Mexican citizenship through a parent. Not sure? Ask a family member about where your parents or grandparents were born. You might be closer to dual citizenship than you think.

OTHER STUFF: 📢

image📢🇲🇽🩺Big move from Mexico: President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that Mexicans with dual citizenship living abroad will be eligible for the new Universal Health Service and can obtain a health card guaranteeing free public care in Mexico. While a formal registration system is still being built, she confirmed that eligible individuals can already receive care when in the country. The program aims to expand access to primary care for all Mexicans, with rollout beginning this April for older adults and expanding nationwide. 👉 Watch the full announcement on YouTube.

Whether you’re tracing your roots, planting something new, or just staying curious about the world around you, I hope you carry a little bit of that spring energy with you. Growth, like belonging, is always in motion. 🌿✨
